June Tavenor is a Registered Nurse and the founder and CEO of Catalyst Health Solutions, an innovative nursing and medical support services company in Paradise, NL. June was previously an Emergency Department nurse for over 16 years and founded Catalyst as a mechanism to improve care delivery in the province by integrating direct patient care with virtual health delivery. June graduated from the Genesis Evolution program in 2019 and placed second in the Pitch and Pick competition with Catalyst’s innovative Cancer Care at Home program, a concept which originated from a 2018 Hacking Health Hackathon. June is also the Director of Medical Services for PAL Aerospace, and a passionate believer in fostering great ideas from the front line practitioners in health care.

June graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2005 with a Bachelor or Nursing degree and a passion for emergency nursing. She immediately began working at Level One Trauma Centre in downtown Toronto, moving to several other hospitals through a nursing agency.
Upon moving home to Newfoundland in 2010, June was working in the emergency department, while completing her Masters in Nursing from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and continued to work as an Emergency Nurse and as a Nurse Educator before founding Catalyst Health Solutions.
