June earned her Bachelor of Nursing degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2005 and discovered her passion for emergency nursing. Her career commenced in downtown Toronto and later led her back to her native province of Newfoundland and Labrador. June completed her Masters of Nursing degree in 2013, with a focus on nursing education and preceptorship of new graduates.
